The Economic Times reports:
Vestas Wind Energy India, the Chennai headquartered wind power company, has saved $10 million in its expenses in the past three years through implementation of a Six Sigma Methodology, patented by Dr.Shree Nanguneri, CEO of Millenium Global Business Solutions (MGBS).
“The Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodology that we adopted warranted that a mass awareness be created among employees. We educated a majority of them on the Yellow Belt concept and put them on the field,” said Vestas supply chain management and quality director Dhananjay Joshi. “This enhanced collective competency as opposed to that of just a few employees at the senior level, as in the Black Belt methodology.”
