PowerSteering Software Customers Cited for Outstanding Six Sigma Achievements

Three PowerSteering customers were recognized at The 2009 Global Six Sigma & Business Improvement Awards.
- Thomas F Farrell II of Dominion was named the Six Sigma & Business Improvement CEO of the Year.
- Colonel Robert C Morris Jr. of the US Army received the Six Sigma & Business Improvement Deployment Leader of the Year Award.
- The US Army’s Distributed Learning Directorate was a Joint Winner of The Platinum Award for Process Excellence Project.
Other PowerSteering customers, including Merck, Raytheon, and OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, were named as finalists in several award categories.

ICICI Pru Life, First Runner Up in the Best Defect Elimination in Service & Transaction Category

ICICI Pru Life bagged the first runner up in the Best Defect Elimination in Service & Transaction Category in the recently concluded 10th Asian Six Sigma Excellence Award 2009 in Singapore.
The Best Defect Elimination in Service & Transaction category in Six Sigma Excellence Award recognizes companies with strong Six Sigma practices, operational excellence, greater customer efficiency amongst other critical aspects. The submissions for the Excellence Awards were evaluated on a varied range of qualifications by some of the Six Sigma most experienced practitioners. This year the award witnessed 48 highly competitive companies participate across Asia, representing industries such as Insurance, Banking, Computer Peripherals and Public Enterprises.
